Depending on whether you are traveling or are taking passengers, head either to the departure area, to check-in, or to the arrival area of the terminal.
At each terminal there is a public area accessible to passengers as well as those who come with them or wait for them and a reserved area accessible only to passengers embarking or disembarking.
Passengers traveling to and from international flights necessarily pass through the duty-free zone where tax-free shops and boarding-rooms are located. On arrival, if you have checked luggage, you will have to go to the luggage delivery area.
Security concerns the prevention of terrorist acts, in particular the control of baggage carried out before arrival in the boarding lounge. Be sure to submit security checks: it is in your interest.
Due to increased security measures in aviation, you will now also do the same for any metal or not you wear on you (watch, bracelet, necklace, etc.), as well as your jackets or coats. Do not place sharp or blunt objects in your hand luggage. Any object of this type will be removed and destroyed.
If you wear a pacemaker or any other implanted technical device, inform the safety officer and do not pass under the gantry, you will be manually controlled. Do not leave your luggage unattended inside the terminal, they can be destroyed at any time without any possibility of compensation for the owner.
This formality remains mandatory on certain routes and companies. When due, reconfirm to your carrier your return flight within 72 hours before take-off.
In case of loss of checked luggage, the responsibility for your carrier is likely to be brought under national and international regulations, however, the compensation to which you can claim is legally limited to a ceiling which you can remove yourself By making a special declaration of interest when checking your luggage.
As soon as your luggage disappears on arrival in the delivery area, immediately report their loss to the luggage service of your carrier or, failing that, the airport. You will be asked to fill in the special form which will allow you to undertake research as soon as possible and will also serve as proof in support of your complaint. Contact your carrier as soon as possible.
Please note that the liability action is no longer admissible after a period of two years. If your luggage has since been found, the compensation to which you are entitled will be either paid for the loss but the delay (see the Montreal Convention), and if traveling on a plane Belonging to a carrier of the European Community, (Regulation 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 February 2004).
Before checking out, check your airline ticket, your passenger itinerary receipt or other travel documents, the airport and, if applicable, the departure terminal. You can access the airport by taxi, with your personal car or rental car. In the latter case, inquire about this point with the car rental companies.
If you use your own car, short or long-term car parks are at your disposal. On major airports, there are also discounted parks, which are not in direct contact with the terminals but are connected by free shuttles. Park on authorized locations, otherwise you may find your car impounded. In principle, the parking place at the risk of the vehicle owner, the fees collected are considered by the operators of parks as simple parking fees and not security or surveillance.
Different zones exist within an airport, the "departure area" into which any registration formalities, the "reserved area" accessible only to passengers embarking or disembarking and that includes the "bonded area" where lie duty free shops and departure lounges, the "baggage delivery area," then of course the "arrival area" or can wait until people came to greet the passengers.

It is a punishable offence to enter a restricted area of an airport without authorisation. One is authorised access ' into a restricted area if one is a passenger, a crew member, a permanent or temporary worker at the airport or a, visitor. In all these cases, however, the authorisation is ' evidenced by the appropriate access paper.
These include a valid travelling document and a boarding card for passengers, internationally recognised identification papers for crew members and airport security badges and passes for personnel and vehicles. Even if one is in possession of any of these access papers, one does not ' have to wonder about or into other restricted zones not specifically mentioned on one's badge or pass. It should be noted that access control is one of the principal security measures instituted by the aviation community world-wide with the sole objective to protect civil aviation from criminal and terrorist acts.
These acts are not imagined, they are real! It should also be noted that ,: an airport security badge or pass is not a status symbol. ; They are not intended, therefore, to enhance the social status or standing of anybody. They are not issued on the basis of people's administrative, professional or political positions in the society. They are issued on the basis of people's necessary presence or real business at an airport. Above all, let us be reminded that security at our airports is everybody's business.
Confirmation of your reserved seat on the outward journey of your trip is not necessary if you already have your ticket. This formality is done automatically at the time of purchase. On the other hand, you should know that even if your ticket specifies the date and the schedule of your return flight or the continuation of your trip, you are advised to confirm your flight again.
In principle, this confirmation must be made 72 hours in advance, if not, the reservation of your place could be canceled and you could remain blocked waiting for a place available in a future flight.
