After a lovely parade at the 20th May Boulevard, the amazons of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) got together in the afternoon at the Congress hall in Yaounde in a convivial atmosphere with Director General, AVOMO ASSOUMOU Paule KOKI.
As usual, the women of the Aeronautical Authority turned out massively for the 33rd edition of the International Women's Day, participating actively in weeklong activities to mark the event.
Festivities started with a round table discussion on March 05, 2018 at the CCAA head office. Talks were animated by experts from MINSANTE and MINPROF. Discussions focused on the theme of the 33rd edition-“intensify the fight against discrimination on women: strengthen partnerships to speedup sustainable development”, and on ocular diseases in the workplace.
At 6am, March 06, 2018, the ladies benefited from the jogging sessions to evacuate stress at the Parcours Vitae of Yaoundé.
The donation of a consignment of gifts to the orphanage of children in distress at OBILI in Yaoundé Wednesday afternoon on March 7, 2018, was a highpoint of activities. About 50 women of the CCAA brought foodstuffs, basic necessities and clothes for the needy children.
On March 8, 2018, the CCAA ladies marched past the grandstand at the 20th May Boulevard, then shared a meal consisting of local dishes.
