Transparent Management commended at the CCAA

The Director General et the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) Ignatius Sama Juma has received a price in the recognition of his efforts at promoting accountability ,integrity , and transparency.

The Ceremony ,dubbed the Nation's Transparency award took place at the Fakoship plaza in Buea in the South West province of Cameroon on Thursday 04 ,2008 and brought together prominent personalities such as Barister Ntumfor ,Nico Halle , Becky Ndive, veteran journalist Charlie Ndi Chia among a host of journalists from diverse private media organs.

In this presentation ,the keynote speaker ,Barrisre Ntumfor Nico Halle appreciate the efforts of the organisers of the event among whom is the publisher of the Ntaion Magazine ,Mr Asong Ndifor .Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle most importantly put to the limelight some of the traits of transparent management as being the constant information on procedures and results of pertinent issues of concern to the public thruthlly.

While quoting great American thinkers and models like Jefferson and Lincoln in his presentation ,Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle remained positive that move by the Nation's Transparency award will encourage young Cameroonians,espacially the media ,in promoting transparency in Cameroon,even in the midst of the recent arrest of former holders of public offices now accused of embazzling public funds.

The Director General of the C.C.A.A who was represented at the occasion by Ms Galabe,executive at the institution's Communication Unit was recognised along side the Directors General of CDC ,Palmo ,and Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle for their initiatives in promoting transparency in Cameroon .

The Nations Transparency Award ceremony on April 04,2008 doubled as birth day of the initiative making it four years old.
