During his stay in Cameroon, Mr. SADOU MARAFA, Executive Secretary of the African and Malagasy Civil Aviation Authorities (AAMAC), accompanied by Mrs. SANOGO, Technical Coordinator of the said organization, exchanged with the Director  General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, on the prospects of providing some courses within the CCAA Training School, on behalf of AAMAC.
A few weeks ago, the AAMAC requested that the CCAA develop courses to strengthen the skills of the Air Navigation Services (ANS) inspectors in their pool of inspectors in the following four areas: aeronautical meteorology, search and rescue, flight procedure design, and aeronautical information/charting.
During their exchanges at the Training School, both parties agreed on the contents of the courses, and a timetable for their implementation was established.
The Executive Secretary of AAMAC declared that he is counting on the professionalism of the CCAA instructors in view of the need to train quality ANS inspectors in French for the States of the Central and West African sub-region.

It should be noted that the CCAA Training School has many assets including access to nearly 400 standardized courses under the ICAO Trainair Plus Programme, ICAO certification as a civil aviation security training center, and the availability of modern facilities to facilitate learning.  It has three training centres in Yaounde, Douala and Garoua. It is a flagship in civil aviation training in Central Africa.
