41st ICAO Assembly: Council President receives the delegation of Cameroon

On September 29, 2022, Mr. Salvatore SCIACCHITANO cordially welcomed the delegation led by the Minister of Transport, Mr. NGALLE BIBEHE Jean Ernest MASSENA in his office.

During the exchanges, the President expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation that has always existed with Cameroon and appreciated its contribution at the level of ICAO through its representation and its numerous experts.

The Minister of Transport then praised ICAO's continued support to Cameroon and took the opportunity to re-launch certain aspects of cooperation, notably the training of civil aviation sector personnel.

Another highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the certificate to the CCAA training school following the renewal of its accreditation as a training center of the ICAO Trainair Plus network.

In fact, following the training school's membership in this system, the certificate is renewed every three years after an evaluation of the infrastructure, equipment, human resources, procedures, and working tools by ICAO experts. This certificate was awarded to the CCAA training school today, following a satisfactory audit/evaluation conducted by these experts in April.
