This training session, which started on November 7 at the Aviation Authority Training School, is part of a series of training courses contained in the agreement between the CCAA and the African and Malagasy Civil Aviation Authorities (AAMAC).
This session aims to train the inspectors to play their role fully in the field.
Thus, it is a question of equipping the Air Navigation Services Inspectors in charge of flight procedures (ANS) of the AAMAC and building their capacities of conducting supervision activities (of the provision of PAN OPS services) in their domain per international requirements and procedures applicable to the African and Malagasy Civil Aviation Authorities (AAMAC).
It is important to note that the courses are designed and developed according to the ICAO trainair plus method. More so, the current training course is tutored by three experienced instructors and senior inspectors of the CCAA.
The trainee inspectors come from several African countries, including Burkina Faso, Gabon, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Togo, Senegal, Chad, Côte d'Ivoire, Madagascar, and Equatorial Guinea.
The CCAA Training School is Trainair Plus certified by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which gives it access to nearly 400 standardized courses. It has modern facilities to facilitate learning and three training centers in Yaounde, Douala, and Garoua.
AAMAC has requested 4 more courses, which will span until December 2022, following this session, which ends November 11, 2022.

Worth noting is that the Executive Secretary of AAMAC visited the CCAA Training School in August 2022.
