The Minister of Transport, Mr Ngallé Bibehe Ernest Masséna, on  February 15th 2023, installed Mr Ngolle III Patrice Emmanuel as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CCAA in the presence of several personalities.
The esplanade of the CCAA headquarters was the setting for this ceremony rich in sound and colour, animated from start to finish by the CCAA choir.
The ceremony began with a reading of the nomination decree of the elected official of the day in both official languages. Then came the installation speech of the Minister of Transport, Mr Ngalle Bibehe Jean Ernest Masséna.
The latter first drew up the brilliant record of service of the new board chair Mr Ngolle III Patrice Emmanuel, which earned him the high trust of the Head of State.
After that, his mission as CCAA Chairman of the board of Directors was clearly stated.
Indeed, Mr Ngolle III Patrice Emmanuel will be in charge of the strategic steering and adequate supervision of the management of the CCAA, one of the most important institutions in Cameroon, the Central African sub-region, and even in Africa in the civil aviation sector, in view of the recent distinctions that Cameroon has obtained internationally through it and the large-scale projects being developed or carried out in this structure, such as the rehabilitation of secondary airports.
The MINT remains convinced that the rich experience of the new chairman of the board of Directors will enable him to assume the responsibilities that the Head of State has just entrusted to him.
It should be noted that the new Board Chair was warmly welcomed by Mrs AVOMO ASSOUMOU Paule KOKI, the Director General of the CCAA and Mr Allabira Mamadou, Deputy Director General at the beginning of this ceremony which was very rich in sounds and colours.
The new Board Chair is a seasoned civil administrator of the State of Cameroon and holder of a doctorate in public law obtained at the University of Montpellier.
He comes to the CCAA after his stints in the prefecture, MINATD and ELECAM.
Born in Nkongsamba, he is married, has two children and is 61 years old.
He replaces the former Minister, NKOUE NKONGO Maximin Paul who died on December 21, 2023. A minute of silence was observed for the repose of his soul during the ceremony.
