Air Transport: forum on the quality of services provided to users holds in Douala
The CCAA Training Center in Douala hosted the 12th edition of the annual forum dedicated to the Quality of Services Provided to Air Transport Users from Tuesday, December 16, to Friday, December 19, 2025.

This strategic assembly, organized by the Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), facilitates the monitoring, evaluation, and implementation of recommendations made by various stakeholders to ensure the continuous improvement of services offered to air transport users.
Presided over by Mr. RITZENTELAR AKKUM, Head of the Air Transport Division and representative of the Director General of the CCAA, the meeting brought together all essential links in the air transport value chain. These stakeholders included partner government administrations, the air navigation service provider (ASECNA), the airport operator (ADC), and various airlines.
In his opening remarks, the representative of the Director General commended the considerable efforts deployed by the various stakeholders since the initiative's inception and noted a significant improvement in service quality. He subsequently urged participants to disseminate the information and recommendations resulting from the proceedings within their respective organizations upon their return.

This 12th edition takes place within a particularly favorable context: the implementation of the National Air Transport Facilitation Programme (NATFP), recently approved by a Decree of the President of the Republic. The benefits of this forum are manifold, notably the generation of precise statistics on passenger complaints and the results of satisfaction surveys conducted by the CCAA’s Quality Department. The long-term objective is to further sensitize all stakeholders to current regulations to ensure full service compliance.
The Forum, which concluded on Friday, December 19, 2025, is not a finality but a new milestone in the constant quest for service excellence. It solidifies the collective commitment of the CCAA and its partners to place the user at the center of air transport priorities.
