Mrs ASSOUMOU KOKI Paule, Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) hosted a meeting on aeronautical consultations

between experts of the Republic of Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Ethiopia led by Col. WESENYELEH Hunegnaw from August 23rd to 24th, 2017 in Yaoundé.

The purpose of this meeting was the revision of the Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) that was initialed on October 28, 2003 in Yaounde.

During this session, the delegations agreed to improve on the document initialed in 2003 by including new provisions on the Multi-designation of airlines, Aviation Safety, Aircraft leasing and code sharing.

At the end of the discussions, the heads of both delegations initialed the revised BASA and signed the Memorandum of Understanding permitting the application of the provisions, pending the signature of the BASA.
