Finalization of SAR agreements between Cameroon and some countries in the sub-region

As part of the implementation of the principles and provisions of the convention International Civil Aviation Convention signed in Chicago on December 7, 1944, and its 12th annex on Search and Rescue (SAR) of aircrafts in distress, which prescribes cooperation between states parties, on the one hand, and in view of consolidate their cooperation relations and establishing mutual assistance in search and rescue on the other hand, Cameroon and some countries in the sub-region have engaged in negotiations on cooperation agreements in the SAR area since 2016.

Rapid-Results Initiatives focal points capacity building workshop

On the initiative of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority's (CCAA) Anti-Corruption Unit, the training, which took place from 12 to 13 June 2019, aimed to equip members of the Anti-Corruption Unit and the Rapid-Results Initiatives focal points of structures, with tools and techniques that can help improve performance within the CCAA.
