The 9th edition of the Africa and Indian Ocean Aviation Week holds in Libreville.

The event was opened July 15, 2024 by the Vice-President of the Republic of Gabon, Mr Joseph OWONDAULT BERRE, in the presence of the President of the ICAO Council, Mr Salvatore SCIACCHITANO, the Secretary-General of the ICAO, Mr Juan Carlos SALAZAR, civil aviation directors general including Mrs Paule AVOMO ASSOUMOU KOKI from Cameroon, executives from the aviation industry, and numerous stakeholders in the African and Indian Ocean aviation sector.

The Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), Mrs Paule AVOMO ASSOUMOU KOKI, installed Mr Boubakary BASSORO on 8 July 2024 in the presence of the Deputy Director General of the CCAA, Mr Allabira MAMADOU, the Prefect of Bénoué, Mr Oumarou Haman Wabi, the Sub-Prefect of Garoua, Mr Ismaëlou ADAMA, the heads of the CCAA's security partner administrations and those of the entities located on the Garoua airport platform.

CCAA: The Director General installs recently appointed managers 

On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, the Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), Mrs. Paule AVOMO ASSOUMOU KOKI, and Deputy Director General, Mr. Allabira MAMADOU, presided over the installation ceremonies for newly appointed operational and support structure managers at the CCAA headquarters in Yaoundé.

ENAC ALUMNI: A Day of Aviation Sector Conferences

 The Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), Mrs. Paule AVOMO ASSOUMOU spouse KOKI, inaugurated this first-ever African edition of the event on July 4, 2024. Held at the CCAA Training School in Yaoundé-Nsimalen, it focused on various themes, including safety, airport competitiveness, decarbonization of aviation, and local and regional human resource challenges. Numerous stakeholders, partners, and resource personnel from the Central and West African aviation sector attended.
