New Internal Public Procurement Commission (IPPC) chair at the CCAA installed.

Mrs. ALIMATOU KONE NGOUH has been solemnly installed July 10, 2019 at the first conference room of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) by Mr. ALLABIRA MAMADOU, Deputy Director General of the institution.

The installation of the new president of the Internal Public Procurement Commission at the CCAA comes pursuant to the June 18, 2019 decision by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency of the Republic, in charge of Public contracts, appointing presidents of Internal Public Procurement Commissions in certain public institutions.

 After expressing gratitude the outgoing President and his team for a job well done during their term in office at the CCAA, the new nominee and her team were enjoined to take on their new responsibilities in public contract procedures with objectivity, accuracy, fairness and impartiality.

 They were encouraged to demonstrate good character, mastery of public procurement regulations by strictly respecting deadlines and procedures. They were also encouraged to observe rules of professional ethics during procedures for the award of contracts and above all to be good advisors to contracting authorities.

Conditions which would enable growth acceleration of the aviation industry in Cameroon under maximum safety and security and hence make the CCAA a remarkable actor in the world of civil aviation oversight and foster sustainable development of the aviation industry, a key sector for an emerging Cameroon.
