Civil Aviation: Launch of feasibility study on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) in Cameroon

The Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), Mrs Paule Avomo Assoumou Koki, presided over the opening of a workshop jointly organized with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and supported by the European Union (EU) on Monday, August 31, 2026. This event marks the official start of a feasibility study to assess Cameroon’s potential to produce and use Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF).

First 2026 Session of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee

CCAA: Modernisation of air safety equipment in Cameroon’s Northern region

Securing airport real estate: CCAA pays over XAF 491 million to populations affected by the Bertoua airport expansion project

From July 15 to 17, 2026, the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) distributed compensation funds to populations affected by the Bertoua Airport expansion project in the conference hall of the Senior Divisional Office (préfecture) in Bertoua. In total, XAF 491,338,884 was distributed to 340 beneficiaries in accordance with Decree No. 2024/02597/PM of July 1, 2024, marking a decisive milestone in securing the airport's designated land.
