The Director General of the CCAA Elected Chairperson of AASPG

Mrs. Assoumou Koki Paule was elected Chairperson of the Africa-Indian Ocean Aviation System Planning and Implementation Group (AASPG) on November 3, 2025, at the commencement of the regional group's first meeting, which is currently being held from November 3-7, 2025 in Libreville.

Approval of flight schedules for the 2025/2026 winter season

  Sixteen airlines had their flight schedules approved on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, during a meeting attended by the representative of the Minister of Transport, representatives of airlines and operators serving Cameroon.

Cameroon and Canada aviation authorities strengthen technical cooperation

Mrs Paule Assoumou Koki, Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), and Mr. Félix Meunier, Director General of Civil Aviation at Transport Canada (TC), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Canadian Delegation to ICAO on 2 October 2025, on the sidelines of the 42nd ICAO Assembly. The ceremony was held at the Canadian Delegation to ICAO, in the presence of Mr. Zoa Etundi Englebert, Cameroon's Permanent Representative to the Organisation.

Complete election of the members of the  ICAO Council

The members of the Council Bureau from Group III were elected September 30, 2025  in Montreal, completing the list of 36 Member States that will sit at the head of the governing body of international civil aviation for the next three years.

Aviation safety: the CCAA and the GCAA of the United Arab Emirates sign a partnership agreement

   The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 42nd ICAO Assembly by the Director General of the CCAA, Mrs Paule Assoumou Koki, and the Director General of the General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, on Tuesday September 30 2025 in Montreal.

​The 42nd Session of the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) opened on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in Montreal. During the second plenary meeting, delegates elected the Bureau responsible for conducting the proceedings on the major challenges facing international civil aviation.

The Cameroonian Delegation Visits the President of the ICAO Council

Led by the High Commissioner of Cameroon to Canada, Mr. Philippe NGOLLE NGWESE, who was accompanied by Ms. Paule Assoumou Koki, Director General of the CCAA, the Cameroonian delegation was received on 25 September 2025 by Mr. Salvatore Sciacchitano, the President of the Council, accompanied by Mr. Juan Carlos Salazar, Secretary General of ICAO.
