The CCAA launches the "AERIAL TUESDAY" concept

The inaugural session of this sharing framework initiated in favour of all staff took place Tuesday, August 10, 2021 by videoconference at the CCAA headquarters in Yaounde.
Indeed, the concept of «AERIAL Tuesdays" was set up within the CCAA in order to develop and maintain the skills of its staff. It is part of the knowledge and experience sharing approach acquired over the years by staff having attained considerable longevity of service.
It is therefore a question of sharing technical knowledge, reinforcing aeronautical culture, encouraging intellectual watch and speaking out on a subject of interest related to civil aviation. The speakers are chosen according to their expertise, their experience on the theme to be presented. The duration of the session is one hour, consisting of a presentation and a question and answer session.
The Tuesday, August 10, 2021 10 AM inaugural session’s topic was "traffic rights and international air agreements”. It was an exposé on the origin of traffic rights, freedom of the air, bilateral air agreements, air agreements concluded by Cameroon. There are more than 3000 bilateral air agreements worldwide. Cameroon has concluded 66 air agreements, namely: 39 with African countries, 13 with European states, 08 with Middle East and South East Asian states, 02 with North America (USA and Canada), 02 with South American states, 02 with Russia and Israel. Of all these agreement, only 17 are operated to date.
