From 30 October to 02 November 2023, fourteen (14) engineers of the first batch of the aircraft maintenance and recycling course publicly defended their end-of-studies dissertations to a panel of aviation experts and academics, in the presence of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority’s Director General, Mrs Paule ASSOUMOU KOKI.
This was after ten (10) months of intense theoretical and practical studies which were facilitated by experts in the aviation industry such as tremendously experienced senior aircraft maintenance engineers, aircraft airworthiness specialists, renowned pilots, and a college of professors from the National Advanced School of Engineering Yaoundé.

The topics of research were centred on aircraft maintenance, continuing airworthiness management, as well as aircraft dismantling and recycling domains.
The results were greatly appreciated and are being implemented to improve flight safety by the different hosting organisations such as the Cameroon Airlines Corporation (Camair-Co), the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), Caverton Helicopters Lagos (CHL), Caverton Aviation Cameroon, and ZEJET S.A.
Following the completion of their studies, the graduates can be employed in approved maintenance organisations, in continuing airworthiness management organisations for air carriers, or in Civil Aviation Authorities in Africa and beyond.

This high-level technical and practical training at the CCAA Training School is open to holders of an engineering diploma in the following fields: mechanical, electronics, electrical, industrial, electromechanical and telecommunications engineering for a period of twelve (12) months.
