The first annual ordinary session of this committee was held on August 13, 2025, in the conference room of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) headquarters building's construction site at the entrance to Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport, chaired by Mr NGOLLE III Patrice Emmanuel, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Committee.

The proceedings were reported by Mrs. ASSOUMOU KOKI Paule, Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), and focused mainly on the status of construction work on the headquarters building, for which the CCAA is the project owner.

After approval of the minutes from the 2nd meeting of the Steering Committee of December 2, 2024, the committee reviewed the status of the construction work on the CCAA headquarters building, followed by discussions and a visit to the construction site by the committee members.

As of August 12, 2025, the company Buns Sarl, which is carrying out this project, is currently on the fifth floor, with 51.65% of the structural work completed, representing 23.55% of the overall work (masonry, plastering, hydraulic and lateritic backfilling, beam reinforcement, fifth-floor joists, etc.).

The Committee therefore instructed them to substantially increase the weekly production rate by increasing the number of workers on site and the supply of materials to avoid delays in completion. They were also asked to speed up orders for equipment and materials for this project to anticipate the completion of the structural work by the end of the year 2025. A showroom displaying samples used in this project has already been set up on site by the company.

It is worth noting that all stakeholders responsible for the technical monitoring of this project were present at this committee meeting.
Following the discussions, the committee members congratulated the Director General on the evolution of this major project, which will further enhance the reputation and development of Yaoundé Nsimalen Airport.
