Air traffic: dialogue on flight schedules of winter 2018-2019
16 regular airline companies serving Cameroon took part October, 2018 at the head office of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) in a meeting to approve flight programs for the 2018-2019 winter season.
It was recommended at the end of the meeting that all cabin crews be sensitized to fully respect zone restriction sign posts at airports. Companies with non-regular flights were asked to submit their flight programs on time to ADC and ASECNA while the CCAA’s SAFA inspectors were advised to fully respect safety instructions during inspections. They were also recommended to conduct inspection early enough to allow airlines respect flight departure schedules.
The CCAA was entreated to ensure the continuity of airport flyover services especially during weekends.
The meeting also served as forum for INTERCONTINENTAL CEIBA, ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES and AFRIJET business SERVICES to obtain approval to increase their flight frequency.
