Heads of structures and all headquarter staff were enlightened on this document recently adopted by the Board of Directors.

The aim of the seminar was to make everyone aware of the importance of this reference document, the mastery of which would enable a better understanding of the general duties and obligations of all CCAA workers and those of persons committed by the CCAA to perform its duties.

Since its adoption in December 2018 by the Board of Directors, the CCAA staff had not had the opportunity to go through it and become familiar with it.

On the initiative of the Directorate General, an expert was commissioned to lead the two enriching training and awareness sessions of April 2 and 3, 2019.

We now know from the exchanges that it is fundamental to resort to morality, law, ethics or professional conduct depending on the context, in the exercise of the various trades that exists within the CCAA to ensure the sustainability, productivity and efficiency of the structure.

The values of equality, equity, responsibility and common interest must at all times be reflected in the implementation of the CCAA's sovereign missions by its staff.

In simple terms, the presenter told participants that ethics is used when the threshold of morality and law is exceeded. And that every day a good leader should know how to combine these concepts for more efficiency and effectiveness. For ethics relates to the judgment of good or evil, whereas deontology is a prescription imposed on a profession.

Staff who do not know the code of ethics and deontology of their company cannot contribute to its development. It was an important reminder to everyone to master the foundation on which this code of ethics is based, namely: the missions, the vision and the values of the CCAA.
