Cameroon–Qatar Air Agreement: A New Frontier for Aviation

Cameroonian airspace has reached a significant strategic milestone following the signing of Decree No. 2026/033 on January 29, 2026, by H.E. President Paul BIYA. This decree ratifies the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Cameroon and the Government of the State of Qatar, succeeding the initial text initialed in Doha on January 16, 2025, under the aegis of the Minister of Transport.
