Aviation Security Crisis Exercise at Garoua International Airport

The Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) organized this exercise on 10 December 2025, based on the simulation of an act of unlawful interference perpetrated on this platform. Named "Bénoué 2", it was placed under the authority of Mr. ABATTE EDI’I Jean, Governor of the North Region, who served as the Director of the said exercise. The exercise constituted a test, carried out by the CCAA, of the existing security framework.

A training workshop focusing on the strategy for managing and processing climatological data, dubbed Climsoft, opened at the Training School of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (EFO-CCAA) on December 1st, 2025. The event gathered distinguished guests, notably the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transport, representatives from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), and the Director of National Meteorology.

CCAA: first training course in City Side Security

This course was successfully delivered from November 17 to 21, 2025, at the Training Center of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) Training School (EFO) in Douala. This exercise once again reinforces Cameroon's proactive approach to strengthening national and regional capabilities in securing public airport areas.

CCAA Board of Directors visit the construction site of new headoffice building

This occurred during the 65th and 66th extraordinary meetings of the Board of Directors of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), held from November 20 to 21, 2025, in Yaoundé. The sessions were chaired by Mr. NGOLLE III Patrice Emmanuel, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, with Mrs. Paule AVOMO ASSOUMOU KOKI, Director General, in attendance, assisted by Mr. ALLABIRA Mamadou, Deputy Director General, who reported on the items inscribed on the agenda.
