Member Countries of AFCAC Set the Tone at the 3rd ICAO Conference in Dubai
The second day of the conference focused on the initiatives and policies of states for sustainable aviation fuels, Low-Carbon Aviation Fuels (LCAF), and cleaner energies for aviation. The voice of Africa was heard through Cameroon, which presented the viewpoint of the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) member countries on November 21, 2023, in Dubai.
Election of the Chairman and Vice-Chairs of the 3rd Conference on Aviation and Alternative Fuels in Dubai
On 21 November 2023, Mr Viliame Gavoga, Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation of Fiji, Ms Paule Assoumou Koki, Director General of the Cameroon Aviation Authority, and Mr Mauricio Ramirez, representing Colombia, were elected Chairman, First Vice-Chairman and Second Vice-Chairman respectively of this high-level conference organised by ICAO.
APIRG/26 and RASG/9: relevant decisions and conclusions for improved air navigation safety in the AFI Region
