Securing Ngaoundere airport: compensation for expropriated land
From 18 to 24 August 2024, the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) paid the second phase of compensation to 249 expropriated residents of the ‘Aéroports’, ‘Mbidjoro’ and ‘Selbé Darang’ villages in the Ngaoundéré 2 Division.
First annual session of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee (NCASC)

Among these members was Madame Paule ASSOUMOU KOKI, Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority, who also serves as the Committee’s technical secretary.
Extraordinary Meeting of the APIRG and RASG-AFI Groups
The members of these two regional groups, which are responsible for the planning and implementation of navigation services and air safety, met on July 19, 2024, to discuss the content of the new joint entity to be established, while taking into account regional and global plans to fully play their role and meet key challenges of air navigation in Africa and the Indian Ocean.
The CCAA and Vallair sign an MOU to strengthen the supply of aircraft maintenance services in Cameroon
The Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), the government agency responsible for developing civil aviation in Cameroon, and Vallair, a Franco-Luxembourgish multidisciplinary specialist in MRO and mature aeronautical assets, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 10 July 2024. The MoU aims to enhance cooperation in aeronautical training, aircraft maintenance and dismantling, and workforce training and development.
Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority in talks with the GCAA of the United Arab Emirates
On the sidelines of the Aviation Symposium, the Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), Ms. Paule ASSOUMOU KOKI, met with a team from the UAE's General Aviation Authority on July 18, 2024, in Libreville. The discussions centred on potential avenues of cooperation in air transport, training, and the environment.
